Being a professor in a School of Law has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience. It has allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for the law with enthusiastic and aspiring students.

Alongside teaching, I have actively engaged in research and scholarship. Pursuing legal research projects, publishing scholarly articles in reputable journals, and presenting research papers at conferences have been integral parts of my academic journey. Contributing to the body of legal knowledge and staying updated with the latest dev elopments in the field have been intellectually stimulating aspects of my role as a professor. Collaborating with fellow faculty members and legal professionals has been an enriching experience. Working together on research projects, organizing symposiums and workshops, and inviting guest speakers have provided students with diverse perspectives and exposure to the practical aspects of the legal field. Such collaborations have fostered a dynamic and stimulating learning environment.

I joined RUAS right after completing my PhD from IISc, Bangalore. This was my 1st academic experience, having worked earlier in the Chemical and IT industry.

Though the learning curve was quite steep, it was enjoyable too. It has been a pleasure working here for the last 6 years with vibrant groups of students from all over the country. We also have an extremely supportive leadership team who encourage us to participate in Faculty Development Programmes to upgrade ourselves continuously. We are encouraged to introduce new teaching pedagogies, tools and techniques to the classroom to enrich our interactions with students.

I joined RUAS in 2014 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce of FMC. This was my first teaching job, I worked for 6 months in an Investment

bank in the foreign exchange department before I chose teaching as a full time career. My time in the university has been so rewarding to say the least. I can say that we always learn from our students, and receive insights on how we should improve and towards where we should direct our teaching effort, as mentors. The university has been a great place to grow professionally since the leadership group is always brainstorming on ways in which the university can expand with new ideas and opportunities for the faculty as well as the students. RUAS gives everyone a great teaching and learning experience in a very friendly atmosphere. The range of courses offered by RUAS is remarkable and a boon for the students. I joined the Department of Physiotherapy, in the year 2012 as Assistant Professor. It has been a unique experience of learning, teaching and interacting.

All the colleagues are experts in their area of speciality and yet very down to earth. The management has been supportive in terms of new initiatives and expanding boundaries. The international and internal collaborations have helped to enhance connections and improve quality of learning and patient care. I have always enjoyed my clinical work and student interactions. The students who pass out have been doing extremely well in their profession and are respected in the community. This gives me the driving force to keep working dedicatedly. What I love about working here is that there’s always an opportunity to expand and implement new ideas.

It is a dream of every Pharm D aspirant to be clinically trained as clinical pharmacist. With two hospitals (Ramaiah Medical College Hospital and Ramaiah Memorial Hospital), it was a wonderful opportunity and experience with faculties conducting bedside teaching along with doctors who were supportive and willing to impart their clinical knowledge through daily ward rounds.

Additionally, the university's commitment to research and innovation was not only to enhance my critical thinking abilities but also broadened my perspective on various subjects. Their consistent encouragement to pursue research projects and the availability of resources have given me the opportunity to delve deeper into my field of interest.

Lastly, the university's commitment to holistic development ensured that I received an all-round education. The emphasis on extracurricular activities, sports, and cultural events fostered a spirit of camaraderie and instilled in me valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management.
