Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is listed in the government-run Vidyalakshmi Portal.
An initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the portal attempts to consolidate and streamline the process of securing an education loan. It lists 36 leading banks offering 96 types of different loan schemes.
Students can register on the portal and pick any three banks of their choice. While applying for the loan, students are required to choose the name of the University and the course they are opting for. Their application is then forwarded to the chosen banks and the application status is monitored every week.
