Our online application process opens every year in the month of December.

Seat Allotment

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences – Admission Test (RUAS AT), provided they meet all other eligibility criteria.

For MBA, Law, and Engineering programs, CAT/MAT/CLAT/SLAT/JEE MAINS scores will be considered respectively, exempting these candidates from the RUAS AT.

Payment Deadline

Full fees must be paid on or before the last date mentioned in the Provisional Offer Letter to avoid cancellation of the seat.

Document Submission

Students should submit their original documents along with the first-year fee paid receipt to the Directorate of Admissions on the receipt of notification via email.

Final Admission Letter

Upon verification of the documents, a Final Letter of Admission will be issued.

  • Class 10 / SSLC Marks Card*
  • Two-Year PUC or Class 12 Marks Card*
  • Diploma Marks Cards* (for Lateral Entry Admissions)
  • Study Certificates (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate* (From last attended educational institution)
  • Migration Certificate* (for students from Non-Karnataka PU Boards)
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card

Please Note:

After verification of all the previous original marks cards and certificates, if they are found to be in order, then the competent authority of the University may confirm your admission.

However, even after confirmation of the admission, if at a later date, any of the documents submitted are found to be false, fake, fabricated or fudged, the University will cancel the admission and forfeit the fee collected. RUAS also reserves the right to take any action as per University rules, including criminal proceedings as per law.

Students from Foreign Countries, PIO Card Holders and NRIs can apply for programs at RUAS, provided they meet the requirements of their program of choice.

  • Valid Passport*
  • Student VISA*
  • Citizenship Card*
  • Sponsorship Letter (if applicable)
  • Students with foreign qualifications and degrees from universities abroad are required to produce an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi*

Upon the completion of this process, the admission of selected students will be confirmed.

Admission Cancellation and Refund Policy

If the student chooses to withdraw from the program in which he / she is enrolled, the refund of the paid fees will be made as per the following UGC guidelines

* Inclusive of course fee, but exclusive of caution deposit The last date of admission is generally the day prior to the Orientation day

Note:

Application and Entrance Test fees, once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances.

In case of Foreign / NRI candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with RBI / foreign exchange regulations.

All refunds will be processed as per the above table; by the RUAS Finance Office based on the recommendation of the Director (Admissions).

In case of No. 1 in the table above, the University shall deduct 5 % of the aggregate fee or Rs. 5000 + Rs. 900 GST (whichever is lower), as processing charges from the refundable amount

Any student who withdraws from the course as mentioned in No. 5 in table above, will be required to remit to the University, in addition to the amount already forfeited, the course fee payable for the remaining period of the course

The above refund rule information is indicative only and University reserves the right to make changes as per the notifications received from the concerned statutory / regulatory authorities from time to time.  Any changes made, in the above will be updated in the website.

Instructions For Indian Candidates

  • Fill in the Admission Application Form after checking your eligibility for the program.
  • The instructions in the Application Form are self-explanatory. Please follow them strictly.
  • It is mandatory to provide your correct email address and phone number as it will be used by the Admission Office for any communication.
  • University / Board / Marks percentage filled in the Application Form will be considered for all procedures related to admission.
  • Any discrepancy found during original document verification will result in cancellation of Admission.
  • Candidates must submit the copy of filled application form along with the supporting documents (duly self-attested) within 3 days of the declaration of the qualifying board/University exam results.
  • If you have appeared for your Class 12 or final UG/PG degree exams and the results are awaited, you may apply but confirmation of admission will be subject to you passing your exams and meeting the minimum percentage criteria.
  • You cannot apply more than once for the same program in one admission year.
