As the much-anticipated annual two-day inter-faculty festival, Akaira captivates the interest — and fosters the enthusiastic engagement — of students from across the university.
This event provides students a unique opportunity to exhibit their talents, demonstrate their capabilities, and forge connections with fellow students from diverse programmes and academic years.
The collaborative efforts of the Directorate of Student Affairs, faculty coordinators, campus leaders, and dedicated student volunteers converge to meticulously plan and organise every aspect of the fest. Boasting an array of over 30 on-stage and off-stage events, Akaira ensures there is something for everyone, including students from other universities and institutes.
With each passing year, the festival has evolved into the pinnacle of excitement for many students, who eagerly await the opportunity to engage in a plethora of fun activities and events.
The day concludes with a DJ Night event, bringing immense enjoyment to all students participating in the fest.
The festival features a diverse array of events, including Rangoli, Sketching, Collage Making, Cooking without Fire, Minute to Win It, Singing Competitions, Pictionary, Photography, Best out of Waste, Face Painting, Short Film Making, Scavenger Hunt, Sell a Product, Taboo, Antakshari, Fashion Show, Air Crash, Dance Competitions, Mad Ads, Adapt to Tune, and Beat Boxing.
