Dr. Nagaraju Rakesh

Professor and Head

He has been the Editor-in-Chief – Journal of Dental and Orofacial Research since 2015. Previously, he has been a member of UG Academic Committee (2007 – 2014) and PG Academic Committee (2014 – 2019). His academic and research career began 12 years ago. He takes MDS modules 1, 2 and 4. At the BDS level, he conducts III and IV BDS theory and clinical classes. He also teaches the BDS Professional core elective subjects. On many occasions, he has been a notable Advisor to undergraduates, postgraduate (MDS) students on their thesis and to PhD scholars on their dissertation. He has a PhD degree from D A P M R V Dental College and Hospital (2016).
