Dr. Suma Janya

Professor

Dr Suma Janya is currently a Professor with the Department of Prosthodontics under the Faculty of Dental Sciences, RUAS. Formerly, she has served as the head of the department from 2013 to 2019. She began her distinguished career as a Senior Lecturer at M R Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore (1999 – 2005) and went on to become a Reader at St Joseph’s Dental College, Eluru. She then worked as a Professor at M S Ramaiah Dental College (2009 – 2013). She studied for her Bachelor’s (1995) and Master’s (1999) degrees in Dental Surgery at RGUHS. Her chief research area pertains to removable prosthodontics.
