Dr. Roopa S Rao

Professor

Dr. Roopa S Rao is a member of the Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Faculty of Dental Sciences. In a career spanning nearly 20 years, she began as a lecturer at HKDET’s DC, Humnabad before moving to Bangalore to join MSRDC as a lecturer. In steady succession, she became Reader, then Professor and the Head of the department at MSRDC, a position she has held for 10 years.
She studied for her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery at HKES Dental College, Gulbarga (1995) and Master’s degree at BDCH, RGUHS University (2000).
