Dr. Pushpanjali Krishnappa

Professor and Head

Dr. Pushpanjali Krishnappa works in the capacity of a Reader at the Department of Public Health Dentistry, RUAS. She is deeply absorbed in research activities pertaining to a wide range of topics. These include oral health promotion, school oral health programs, epidemiology, biomedical waste management for dental establishments, health profession education, research methodology, and hospital administration. She has become an expert in writing research protocols for Health Science, qualitative and quantitative research methods, developing questionnaires and psychometric properties as well as education research.

An extensive list of her educational accomplishments includes Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Dental Surgery, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM), a Doctor of Philosophy degree, and a Fellowship offered by the FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia. She is a member of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry and Indian Dental Educationists Association.
