Dr. Midhuna Mukunthan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Faculty of Dental Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2020 from Ramaiah university of Applied Sciences and Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Dr M.G.R Educational and Research Institute in 2024. With clinical experience in private practice since 2020, her academic and research interests primarily focus on cleft lip and palate management, skeletal anchorage systems, and orthodontic mini-implants. Dr. Midhuna has actively contributed to national and international scientific forums through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Her research work on orthodontic miniscrews and temporary anchorage devices has been published in reputed journals and presented at recognized scientific conferences. She is also a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and the Karnataka State Dental Council.
