Dr. Lavanya is a passionate academician and an ardent clinician. She has obtained FAIMER fellowship from CMC-Ludhiana, she has shown interest in medical education. She has served the institution by holding administrative posts. She has guided postgraduate and undergraduate students in their research projects. She has 3 patents to her credit for Blade Guard – Device to Safely Load and Unload a Surgical Scalpel, Portable Superoxidised Water Generating Device – A Prototype and Periodontal Luminescent Periosteal Elevator. Her areas of research interests are periodontal medicine, periodontal biomarkers, artificial intelligence, LASERS.
