It's been few months as a 1st year PG at Ramaiah college of Physiotherapy and every month that I have spent has been such an enriching experience.

I say wholeheartedly that the aim for pursuing my Master's is being fullfilled in every sense. With it's comprehensive learning, the clinical postings where we are getting to work under and learn from experienced staff and seniors who teach us how to take up responsibilities and helping us refine our practical skills is preparing me for being a better professional in the near future. Be it the classes, case presentations, UG practicals, journal clubs, thesis preparation and the clinical society meetings is making the experience all the more stimulating and engaging. I'm also greatful to have such a supportive and approachable faculty who push us to do better every day. The university life here is definitely worth the experience. Excited and looking forward to everything my time here at Ramaiah brings!

Joining Ramaiah medical college has been an incredible and highly rewarding experience for me. Unlike other colleges, this institute refines every individual in whichever stream they are in.

Considering the advantage of having an attached hospital gives an plenty of experience in dealing with patients with various conditions in terms of both corporate hospital and teaching hospital. Having various super specialties like oncology and dedicated chest/respiratory medicine along with other departments gives various opportunities for an individual to build new skills and broaden their scope of practice. My experience as a postgraduate student in the Department of Physiotherapy has been amazing. While practicing during the clinical posting, the physiotherapy department is considered an independent specialty and works very dynamically as an interdisciplinary team. The faculty and staff provide a truly supportive learning environment, with a variety of educational opportunities for both general and specialist education. This institute gives a lot of importance to research and evidence-based practice which I feel is more important for an individual who plans to make a career in academics or clinical practice. This institution is one the best place for a potential individual who thrives for knowledge and improve their clinical practice. As Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said, “A dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep”. It is important to understand that it is not easy to survive without hard work and sacrifice. I highly recommend people with determination to pursue their dreams in this institute."
