Workshop on “Embroidery Machine(Memory Craft 50E) & UJ Machines”

The Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Art and Design organised a one-day workshop in collaboration with Usha International Limited on 06 March 2026. Expert trainers Ms. Anupama M. Mailar (Deputy Manager) and Ms. Bindu conducted hands-on sessions on the Memory Craft 550E computerised embroidery machine and the UJ (Usha Junior) sewing machine series. A total of 38 students participated, gaining practical skills in machine setup, design execution, stitch customisation, and routine maintenance. The workshop significantly enhanced participants' technical proficiency and prepared them for careers in fashion design and textile manufacturing..
