Workshop on “ Benefits of Soft Skills Used in the Workplace and the Advantages of Professionalism”

The Department of Front Office, Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences organized an insightful workshop titled “Benefits of Soft Skills Used in Workplace and the Advantages of Professionalism” on October 7, 2025, at FHMCT, Bengaluru. The session was conducted by Ms. Farhat Begum, Life Skills Trainer at MSRUAS, who shared her valuable expertise with students and faculty members.

The workshop focused on the vital role of soft skills in shaping a successful career and fostering workplace harmony. Ms. Begum highlighted how communication, teamwork, adaptability, and emotional intelligence complement technical knowledge in achieving professional excellence. She also emphasized the importance of professionalism, including punctuality, ethical behavior, grooming, and accountability, as key elements that define credibility and success in the hospitality industry.
