Winter School Program & Campus Visit

The Centre of AI for Social Good conducted the Winter School Program through thoughtfully curated, hands-on learning sessions to foster inter-disciplinary learning. The workshop comprised of capsule-sessions on Tech Trends and Responsible AI from Data Sciences & Analytics; Mindfulness by Psychology; Breaking Gender Stereotypes by Sociology; Applied Economics and the path ahead from Economics, From Ideas to Impact by the Public Policy; Constitution and better Citizenry by the School of Law.

The workshop sessions were held on the 6th November 2025 at Daffodils Foundation of Learning, and on 22nd November 2025 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IISc., attended by 100+ students of class 10, 11 and 12.

The sessions were anchored by the faculty team comprising of Dr. Rema V, Mr. Suresh Darla and Dr. Sudarshana VI from Data Sciences; Dr. Aditi Arun Rao, Dr. Shubhangi Goswami, Ms. Saba Jahan from Psychology; Ms. Puja Krishna from Sociology; Ms. Abhirami K from Economics; and Ms. Ramya Prakash from the School of Law. along with student volunteers. A blend of interaction with activities made the sessions both enjoyable and impactful.

As part of the Campus Visit organized on 1st December 2025, students and teachers from the participating schools witnessed an engaging Mock Trial Demonstration at the Moot Court. This interactive session offered a hands-on introduction to the legal system, immersing them in the dynamics of a real courtroom environment. The session was led by Dr. Aruna L. and Ms. Ramya Prakash from the School of Law.
