Two Days workshop on “Fashion Choreography”

Two days’ workshop on “Fashion Choreography” was conducted on 10.2.2026 and 11.2.2026 by the Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Art and Design, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore. Ms. Smitha S P, Adjunct Lecturer, Dept. of Fashion Design welcomed the audience and introduced the resource persons fashion choreographers from Athul Academy, A. S Dream Studio. Beginning of the workshop students were given highlights on the importance of fashion choreography styles in the field of modeling. Students were trained on walking styles with various postures to showcase the clothing in an elegant way. During the workshop students practiced expressions and improved in their walking performance skills.

Ms Jennifer practically demonstrated the importance of team work i.e. Choreographers, designers and models. She said by mastering timing, rhythm, and stage presence, participants develop essential skills that can propel their careers in both fashion and performance industries. The fashion design students practiced the various techniques of walking and posing that are required for a successful fashion show.
