The Winter School Program by the Centre of AI for Social Good - School of Social Sciences & School of Law, MSRUAS

The Centre of AI for Social Good conducted the Winter School Program during October-November 2024 as its first initiative of knowledge sharing to foster inter-disciplinary learning. The workshop comprised of capsule-sessions on Tech Trends and Responsible AI from Data Sciences & Analytics; Stress Management and Mindfulness by Psychology; Breaking Gender Stereotypes and opportunities of Computational Social Sciences by Sociology; Applied Economics and the path ahead from Economics, From Ideas to Impact by the Public Policy; Constitution and better Citizenry by the School of Law.

The workshop sessions were held on the 19th October, 2024 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, IISc., 24th to 25th October, 2024 at Daffodils Foundation of Learning, and National Public School on 8th November, 2024. The sessions were attended by 100+ students of classes 10, 11 and 12. The sessions were anchored by the faculty team comprising of Dr. Rema V, Mr. Suresh Darla and Dr. Sudarshana V Iyengar from Data Sciences; Ms. Aditi Arun Rao from Psychology; Ms. Puja Krishna from Sociology; Dr. Anantha Ramu and Ms. Nishta Chhabra from Economics; Dr. Aradhana Talwar from Public Policy; Ms. Surabhi Mathur and Ms. Ramya Prakash from the School of Law, along with student volunteers. A blend of interaction with activities made the sessions both enjoyable and impactful.
