Seminar on 'Adolescence to Motherhood around Public Health: A Journey in Rural India'

The Department of Public Policy organized a seminar on 'Adolescence to Motherhood around Public Health: A Journey in Rural India' on April 30th, 2025. It featured a presentation by students of Public Policy and Economics as part of their assignment, based on fieldwork conducted in villages of Bagepalli, Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. It was an engaging event where students performed a deeper analysis of the field-level data.

The students presented their research findings, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis, to students and faculty of Public Policy and Economics. A Question and Answer session was conducted at the end of the seminar, which was quite insightful in understanding the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world setups.
