School of Law Students Win Best Presenter Award!
Six students from the School of Law, RUAS, showcased their research at the ICSSR-Sponsored One-Day National Seminar on "Advancing Border Security Through Technological Innovation: A Vision for Viksit Bharat@2047," organized by the Department of Humanities, Presidency College (Autonomous), on 22nd February 2025.
Student Presentations:
- Malka Biddappa & Rahul Gangaraj – "Securing Borders, Enabling Progress: Leveraging Technology for India's Border Surveillance and Developmental Vision 2047."
- N.T. Malavika & Gurusaran R. S. – "Future Trends in Border Security: From Physical Barriers to Digital Surveillance and Automated Defense Systems."
- Nithya Shree & Sheela M. J. – "Securing the Line: A Case Study of Border Technologies at the India-Bangladesh and India-Nepal Borders."
Outstanding Achievement:
- Best Presenter Award – Gurusaran R. S., Sheela M. J., and Rahul Gangaraj were recognized for their exceptional presentation.
Event Highlights:
- The seminar featured Shri Deepak Vohra, former Ambassador to France, the U.S., Spain, Tunisia, and Poland, as the Chief Guest. The session was chaired by Dr. Aradhana Talwar, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Policy, School of Social Sciences, MSRUAS.
- This achievement reflects the dedication and academic excellence of our students in contributing to national security discourse through research and innovation.
