Republic Day Celebration 2026

The Republic Day Celebration 2026 at Gnanagangothri Campus, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences was held on 26th January 2026 at the School of Law with solemnity and patriotic fervour. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kuldeep Kumar Raina, followed by a disciplined march past and salute by the RUAS NCC contingent. The celebration featured addresses by student leaders, the Registrar, Mr. S. Ashok Rao, and the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, emphasizing constitutional values and responsible citizenship. A Pipping and Ranking Ceremony was conducted to recognize leadership and service, during which Cadet Senior under Officer Divya Jha and Cadet under Officer Brundha were honoured. The Campus Security Excellence Award was presented to Mr. Nagaraj C, Mr. Girish C M, Mr. Dayanand and Mr. Manjunath A in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication to campus safety. The programme also highlighted the achievements of Rotaract RUAS and NSS RUAS for their impactful student-led e-waste management initiative, supported by key contributors including Mitra Jyoti, Eat Raja, Rotary Bengaluru Upkar, Rotary Bengaluru Abbigere, Rotary Bengaluru Manyata, Mrs. Sudha Suresh, KCC Pvt Ltd, Dr. B. V. Basavaraj, and Mr. B. Anantha Ramu. Cultural performances, including patriotic songs by Ms. Thanushree N. and Mr. Neel Mohan and a classical dance performance by Ms. Nisarga R. added vibrancy to the celebration. The event reinforced the spirit of unity, patriotism, and nation-building.
