Participation in the 30th International Population Conference (IPC 2025)

Dr. Aishwarya, Assistant Professor, Department of public policy, school of social sciences, presented her research work at the 30th International Population Conference (IPC 2025), at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Australia from July 13 to 18, 2025. Held once every four years, it's the largest global conference on population and demographic research which brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and demographers from around the world to engage in meaningful dialogue on a wide range of critical population issues. IPC 2025 included 1800 presentations on 24 broad research themes by around 2,000+ delegates (including scholars, policymakers, and their families) from over 130 countries.

Dr. Aishwarya presented her research titled "How Are Bengaluru Women Working in Corporates Dealing with Stress, Anxiety and Depression-a Qualitative Insight”, co-authored by her student Sanchana Pardikar under the session ‘Gender Dynamic; Human Capital, Education, & Work,; Inequality, Disadvantage & Discrimination, the Demography of Indigenous Populations’. The presentation received encouraging feedback and sparked insightful discussions on the evolving landscape of mental health service access and equity in India.
