Odissi Dance Performance (SPICMACAY)

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPICMACAY), in collaboration with Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, organized a captivating Odissi dance recital by renowned artist Madhulita Mohapatra at the Ramaiah Medical College Auditorium on 18th March 2026.

The performance beautifully showcased the grace, storytelling and spiritual depth of Odissi, enthralling the audience and offering a glimpse into India’s rich classical heritage. She was ably accompanied by Vocalist Smt. Sumita Panda, Pakhawaj artist Shri Alok Rajan Das, and Violinist Shri Jagabandhu Naik, whose soulful music enhanced the overall experience.

The programme reflected SPIC MACAY’s mission of promoting Indian classical arts among youth, leaving students and faculty inspired by the elegance and cultural significance of this timeless dance form.
