JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) Corporate Office Field Visit
The Department of Housekeeping, Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, organized a field visit to JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) to provide practical exposure to professional facility management practices for BHM students specializing in Hospitality Facility Management on 9th Oct 2025. During the visit, students were introduced to JLL’s comprehensive facility management framework, which covers operations, maintenance, sustainability monitoring, and space management. The team demonstrated the use of digital tools for real-time asset monitoring, predictive maintenance, and energy tracking through advanced Building Management Systems (BMS).
The visit highlighted JLL’s commitment to sustainability through the implementation of energy-efficient systems, waste segregation, and smart resource utilization. Students observed the integration of safety protocols, emergency management, and quality control measures in daily operations. This enriching experience helped them understand how theoretical concepts such as maintenance management, sustainability, and energy efficiency are implemented in real-world settings. The interaction with industry professionals provided valuable insights into emerging technologies and career opportunities in the field of facility management.
