Inter City Youth General Forum - ICGF 2025
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) proudly hosted 'Jwaala' - ICGF (Inter City General Forum) Youth Service event on September 29, 2025, at the Dwarka Auditorium. This massive youth fellowship event for Rotary District 3192 was a significant collaborative effort.
The event was primarily hosted by the Rotaract Club of RUAS, alongside the Rotary Club of Bangalore Heritage North and five other core Rotaract Clubs: Rotaract Club of Bengaluru, Rotaract Club of Bangalore Golden Rock, Rotaract Club of Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas, Rotaract Club of Bengaluru Nagasandra, and Rotaract Club of Yenepoya.
The formal agenda began with fellowship and registration, followed by the Directors' Report, Team Introduction, and the Vision & Plan for 2025-26 for Youth Service, which laid the foundation for the forum's strategic outlook.
The formal addresses featured several high-profile speakers:
- District Governor Rtn. Prof. Elizabeth Cherian delivered an inspiring address, motivating the youth to leverage the ICGF platform for networking, growth, and increased involvement in community service.
- Mr. Bhaskar Rao, Former Commissioner of Police, GoK, delivered a powerful keynote address that left a deep impact on the youth leaders present.
- Mr. Manoj Chopra, Asia’s Strongest Man, energized the audience with a motivational speech and performance, adding a unique highlight to the evening.
Dignitaries from across the district were present, including Rtn. Solomon Paramel (District Rotaract Committee Chair), Rtn. Suresh Seetharam (District Interact Committee Chair), Rtr. Janice Philip (District Rotaract Representative), and Rtr. Chethan Kumar V S (District Interact Representative). This extensive leadership presence, spanning from the President of Rotary Bangalore Heritage North, Rtn. Arun Tanksali, up through the District Governor, reinforced the collective youth service mandate.
Celebration and Conclusion
The evening transitioned into a segment recognizing the dedicated contributions of both Rotary and Rotaract Clubs and Rotaractors, followed by key District Events Announcements.
Adding further vibrance to the event, cultural performances and a fashion segment were showcased. The successful Forum culminated in the highly anticipated "Entertainment & Dinner" segment. Coinciding with the Navaratri festival, this segment transformed into a vibrant and much-enjoy
