India’s First Student Chapter in Fashion Design and Allied Textiles Formed by AATCC

The chapter at Fashion Design, Faculty of Art and Design, M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is approved by AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists) Board of Directors, USA in the month of November 2025. This chapter will focus on knowledge dissemination, and participation in committee activities at AATCC which will be valuable for the Indian textile sector.

The chapter will create more awareness for students who are next generation professionals on quality standards, new developments and interact with global leaders in the field of textiles and fashion design.
