Hands-on AI Workshop at School of Social Sciences

The Hands-on AI Workshop was successfully conducted on 6th March 2025 in collaboration with JSR Script through its training initiative, Varaah.AI. Led by Ms. Jeevitha Satheeshkumar, CEO of JSR Script, and her expert team, the workshop provided participants with practical experience in speech and image data annotation using industry-relevant tools.

With 75+ participants from diverse disciplines including Data Science, Psychology, Law, Computational Social Sciences, Economics, and Public Policy, the workshop fostered an interdisciplinary learning environment.

Organized by Dr. Rema V, Head - Centre of AI for Social Good, and supported by a dedicated faculty and student team from the School of Social Sciences and Law, this workshop marked another step in integrating Artificial Intelligence for social impact at RUAS.
