The Department of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology in association with CNSS organized a thought-provoking guest lecture on “Electric Vehicles: Opportunities and Challenges in the Present Automotive Engineering Industry,” delivered by a renowned expert from the EV sector.
The objective of this guest lecture was to provide students and faculty with insights into the evolving landscape of electric vehicles (EVs), focusing on the opportunities and challenges currently faced by the automotive engineering industry. Through the expertise of an industry professional, the session aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications, highlighting emerging technologies, market trends, policy influences, sustainability concerns, and engineering innovations shaping the future of mobility.
The session emphasized the importance of safety, reliability, and product design and engineering, while introducing students to cutting-edge manufacturing concepts like zero welding, zero wiring, zero wastage, and zero manpower.
