FDS PG Student Dr. Pooja M. Yadav Receives ICMR Grant for Innovative MDS Thesis Research
Dr. Pooja M. Yadav, a postgraduate student from the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, has been awarded a prestigious grant of ₹1 Lakh from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the Department of Health Research (DHR) financial support for the MDS thesis program.
Her research, titled “Formulation and Physicochemical Characterization of a Novel Nanostructured Bioactive Root Canal Sealer Using Lyophilized PRF” aims to advance endodontic materials for improved patient outcomes.
The study is being guided by Dr. Poornima Ramesh and Dr. Shruthi Nagaraja from the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences, along with Dr. Deveswaran R. from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
