Dr. Dominic Augustine Honored with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam National Award for Oral Health Innovation & Research

Dr. Dominic Augustine, Associate Professor in the Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, has been awarded the prestigious Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam National Award for Oral Health Innovation & Research in the category of Distinguished Scientist in Oral Health Research.

This esteemed recognition, presented under the auspices of the Kalam Innovation Centre & Indian Dental Association, honors his groundbreaking PhD research conducted at RUAS, along with its impactful publications, research outcomes, and conference accolades.

The award ceremony was held on 15th February 2025 at Bhim Hall, Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The award was presented by Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Member of Parliament and member of the Health Planning Committee, and Enzo Bondioni, Executive Director of the Fédération Dentaire Internationale (FDI).
