Direct Commission and Rank Piping Ceremony of CTO Veena Karuna Karan

The Direct Commission and Rank Piping Ceremony for CTO Veena Karuna Karan was successfully conducted on 26 March 2026 at the premises of 40 Karnataka Battalion. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the professional journey of the officer, recognizing
her dedication, commitment, and service to the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

During the ceremony, the rank of Lieutenant was formally piped, and CTO Veena Karuna Karan was officially commissioned as an NCC Officer. From this day onward, she shall be addressed and recognized as Lt. Veena Karuna Karan.

The event was conducted with proper military decorum and discipline in the presence of distinguished officials and staff members. The ceremony was presided over by the NCC Lt. Col. Surendra. L, NCC Lt. Col. Vippin Dhillion along with Dr. A. Mumtaj, Professor, FHMCT,RUAS
whose guidance and leadership added great significance to the occasion.
