Molecular Basis of Human Health and Disease: Emerging Perspectives

The Department of Biotechnology, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), in association with Papineni Labs—the non-profit arm of PACT & Health LLC—is organizing a one-day symposium titled “Molecular Basis of Human Health and Disease: Emerging Perspectives.” The symposium aims to bring together researchers, academicians, clinicians, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances in the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying human health and disease. Special emphasis will be placed on translational research, emerging technologies, and therapeutic innovations.

As a highlight of the symposium, Papineni Labs will confer the M. R. Raju Legacy Award upon Ms. Mobasshara Uzma, an alumna of the M.Sc. Biotechnology program (Class of 2023) at RUAS. This award is in recognition of her outstanding research on the role of DCLK1 isoforms in gastrointestinal health and disease.
