Guest Lecture on “Unmute Yourself – From Fear to Impactful Speaking”

The Department of Front Office, Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT), Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, will be organizing an engaging guest lecture on 5th November 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The session, titled “Unmute Yourself – From Fear to Impactful Speaking,” will be delivered by Prof. Vibha Shetty, Chairperson, Board of Studies, Faculty of Dental Sciences (FDS), RUAS.

The lecture will focus on helping students overcome the fear of public speaking and build confidence for effective communication—an essential skill for hospitality professionals. Prof. Shetty will share practical insights on voice modulation, body language, and audience engagement. Students will have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities designed to enhance their presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
