Guest Lecture on "National Health Programmes Related to Child Health Implemented at the PHC Level”

Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research (RINER) orgnised a guest lecture on "National Health Programmes Related to Child Health Implemented at the PHC Level” 

The guest lecture is organized with the aim of enhancing the knowledge base of nursing students at all academic levels on national health programmes related to child health implemented at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) level. The session will delve into the structure, goals and implementation strategies of these programmes, while emphasizing the significant role nurses play in ensuring their success. By integration theory to practical application, the session aspires to build students' confidence and readiness for community-based child health care delivery.

Objectives: 

• To enhance students’ understanding of major national health programmes focusing on child health.
• To equip students with practical knowledge of the nurse’s role in implementing child health initiatives in primary care settings.
