Guest Lecture on “Emerging Trends and Applications in Robotics and Automation”
The Department of Mechanical Engineering (Robotics Club) is pleased to announce a guest lecture titled “Emerging Trends and Applications in Robotics and Automation,” featuring Smt. Pooja R. Singh, Training Officer at NSTI. The lecture will be followed by a Mini-Project Exhibition.
The exhibition is organized as part of the continuous assessment for the course Embedded Processors and Controllers (ROC303A). Fifth-semester students of III-Year B.Tech (Robotics Engineering) will showcase their innovative, microcontroller-based robotic applications through live hardware demonstrations.
This event aims to highlight our students' creativity, technical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities. It provides a unique platform to explore the practical implementation of embedded systems and emerging trends in automation.
As part of the Innovative Continuous Evaluation (CE), students will be assessed on:
- Application Selection: Choosing a relevant use case for embedded systems.
- Hardware Identification: Selecting appropriate processors or controllers.
- Innovation & Design: The technical creativity behind the project.
- Implementation: Successful hardware integration.
- Performance Evaluation: Assessing functionality and system accuracy.
- Relevance: Real-world applicability of the project.
- Presentation: Clarity during live demonstrations.
