The Social Science Research Collective is pleased to announce a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Qualitative Research Methods and Applications,” scheduled for Saturday, 28 February 2026 at 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
The FDP will be led by Dr. Anil Behal, a distinguished scholar-practitioner with international expertise in phenomenology, grounded theory, and evidence-based qualitative research. Dr. Behal frequently collaborates with doctoral scholars and faculty at prestigious institutions, including IIMs, TISS, NMIMS, Symbiosis, and ISEC.
This highly interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with both a conceptual and practical grounding in qualitative inquiry. Key areas of focus include:
- Phenomenology and constructivist grounded theory
- Narrative research, participatory action research, and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA)
- The art of framing rigorous qualitative research questions
- Strategies for designing high-quality qualitative studies.
This programme is particularly beneficial for faculty members and doctoral scholars involved in research supervision, PhD guidance, or those specializing in qualitative and mixed-methods research.
