ASME GT India Group Student Seminar on “Role of Gas Turbines for Future Aircraft Propulsion Systems”

Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, MSRUAS, are jointly hosting a one-day ASME GT India Group Student Seminar on Role of Gas Turbines for Future Aircraft Propulsion Systems on 07 December 2024 at Ramaiah Technology Campus. This event is organized under the aegis of RUAS ASME Student Chapter.

The full-day event is planned to cover a wide range of topics that address the future of urban mobility, the role of simulations and machine learning in building future engines, additive manufacturing in gas turbines, and the performance of gas turbine engines under extreme conditions. The talks also emphasize the futuristic opportunities that the Gas Turbine sector could offer to the students. There will be a Poster Presentation Competition at the student seminar event. Interested students are encouraged to submit posters online on topics relevant to gas turbine engines. Students can either present their original research or review relevant papers and consolidate them as a poster. The hard deadline to submit PDF copies of the posters is 1st December 2024. Posters selected for online display at the event will be notified by 4th December 2024. The event is open to all students, research scholars & faculty. Registration is free.
