Veena Kiran Nambiar, A Professor at Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy, Senior Consultant and Chief of Cardiac Rehab at Centre for Rehab, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka. She has more than twenty two years of Clinical and Academic work experience and has graduated the Bachelors and Masters level in Physiotherapy from Seth. G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 1999 and PhD from RGUHS.She nurtures special interests and passion in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She was involved in implementing dedicated Cardiac Rehab Programs across various units (Heart Centres & Multispecialty Hospitals) of Narayana Health in Karnataka. She has been a recipient of the European Commission Scholarship (Erasmus Mundus) at Ghent University Hospital, Belgium in Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Also done a certificate program in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association. She has about 25 Research Publications both national and International to her credit. Presented research papers both at National and International level. Worked on a ICMR Projects (Multi centric Study) on Yoga and Cardiac Rehab and MECOR (ATS) projects, Heart failure and Cardiac rehab. She is a PhD guide at RGUHS, on the Expert panel board of Doctorate Committee at JSS, Mysore and currently Board of studies Member (PG) at RGUHS. Her strength being Leadership Qualities, Positive Attitude, Self Motivated, Successful Team leader and worker and possess good Managerial and Administrative Skills.
