Ms. Shobhalakshmi S is an Associate Professor at Ramaiah College of Physiotherapy and a Senior Consultant at the Center for Rehabilitation, Ramaiah Hospital. She graduated from Fr. Muller’s Institute of Medical Education and Research in 1998 and completed her Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Musculoskeletal Sciences from M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, RGUHS, Bangalore, in 2004.

With over 25 years of clinical and academic experience, Ms. Shobhalakshmi is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Pain Science at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. Her areas of expertise and research focus on Pain Science and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation. She is certified in fascial manipulation, manual therapy, dry needling, taping, and is also a health and wellness coach.

As a recognized postgraduate guide, she has guided more than 40 postgraduates. She has secured research grants and has authored approximately 15 publications in national and international journals. Additionally, she has written and edited a chapter on orthopedic rehabilitation and serves as a reviewer for two reputed journals. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is passionate about philosophy, sustainability, reading, travel, and gardening.
