Overview
The Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy is designed for those interested in advancing pharmaceutical sciences and ideas on health care innovations. Usually, the time taken is 3-5 years through new drug developments, drug delivery systems, pharmacology, toxicology, or pharmaceutical chemistry.
Students do profound research and acquire competencies in both theoretical and practical perspectives of pharmacy. They work with advisors and produce scientific literature through publications and participation in scientific conferences. Graduates of this programme often go on to become leaders in academia, research institutions, or pharmaceutical companies, leading the discovery and development of new medicines, improvement of existing treatments, and pioneering ways to improve patient care.
The programme aims to instruct the subjects of critical and effective thinking, problem-solving, and independent research skills. The course will equip the students to handle health issues in complex and sophisticated settings, and the knowledge about pharmaceuticals will push up public health standards. M.S.
