A Bachelor in Physiotherapy, commonly known as a BPT course, offers an in-depth exploration of rehabilitative techniques and healthcare practices. The BPT course duration typically spans four to five years. Curriculum Details
The University follows the annual scheme for the programme wherein the students will take year-end examination for the prescribed courses completed in each of the academic year. In addition, the students enrolled in the BPT programme shall also undertake the required number of courses and optional elective courses.

Eligibility Criteria
Should have passed the two-year Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre- University Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. The candidate should have individually passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics,Chemistry and Biology.
OR
Shall have passed any other examination conducted by boards/Councils/Intermediate examination established by State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to a two year Pre-University Examination of Karnataka State with English Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects. The candidate should have individually passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics,Chemistry and Biology.
In the case of a foreign national, an equivalence certificate needs to be obtained from the approved authority as per the University Statutes
A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Every candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to the Dean of the Institution a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officer to the effect, that the candidate is physically fit to undergo Physiotherapy course.
