Located in the bustling area of Mathikere, the Gnanagangothri Campus brings together more than 21 healthcare and education initiatives of the Ramaiah Group.
The University shares space with the Medical College, Institute of Technology, Institute of Management, College of Law, and the College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Memorial Hospital, the Medical College Hospital and the Indic Specialty Ayurveda Restoration Hospital.
The campus unites these radically different fields of study, schools of thought and streams of research in one common pursuit: the pursuit of enlightenment for the upliftment of society.
Named the ‘Well-Spring of Knowledge,’ the Gnanagangothri Campus was established by our Founder-Chairman, Late Dr M S Ramaiah. Envisioned as a place that would be at the forefront of academic and societal progress, the campus is home today to hundreds of students, teachers, researchers, doctors and healthcare professionals.

The Campus also has Food Street, an entire street lined with cafes and eateries offering scrumptious dishes and meals at student-friendly prices. Swasthya Marg — as the street is called — also has convenience stores, xerox and printing shops, and stationery shops to ensure that a student’s every need is met.
We offer on-campus accommodation options for students. These hostels are run by and operated by Gokula Education Foundation and the Directorate of Student Affairs coordinates for hostel accommodation of University students.
Students can also choose from a host of off-campus accommodation options that are privately managed.
Sports and Fitness
Students of RUAS have access to a whole gamut of indoor and outdoor sports and recreational facilities at the Gnanagangothri Campus. From basketball courts to table tennis rooms, from tracks for runners to a well-equipped indoor gym, students are given the perfect opportunity to indulge their athletic side.
The University conducts annual Athletics Meet where students from different faculties compete against each other. The University also conducts inter faculty competitions in Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Badminton, and Cricket.
The Gnanagangothri Campus has 4 hospitals, all of which are easily accessible to all students in case of any medical emergency. Additionally, RUAS also offers its students health insurance.
