Spread across two sprawling campuses, the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is equipped with academic labs that push the boundaries of the known, interdisciplinary centres that blur the conventional boundaries of academia, and research centres that collaborate with industries to create society-centric solutions for a better tomorrow.

From guest lectures and workshops to sports and cultural events, from intra- and inter-college fests to national level conferences, the University is constantly buzzing with activities and ideas that are waiting to be realised.

Campuses

Named the Well Spring of Knowledge,’ this campus is located in Mathikere and is home to 21 education and healthcare initiatives by the Ramaiah Group. Cultural Fests

Akaira

This annual cultural fest of the University sees participation from over 2500 students a year. From fun games and quizzes to competitions and events, Akaira offers a range of activities that bring together students from different branches of the University to showcase their skills and indulge in friendly competition.

Ramaiah Habba

Held on the first Monday of every month, the Ramaiah Habba is a platform that showcases budding talents from different institutes of the Ramaiah Group.

Karnataka Rajyotsava

A celebration of the formation of the state of Karnataka, this cultural fest is organised every year to celebrate and showcase the arts and crafts of Karnataka.

Clubs and Societies

While RUAS students pursue their primary passion in the classrooms and labs of the University, Clubs and Societies are where they discover the unknown facets of their personality, where they find creative ways to unwind, and perhaps even turn a nascent hobby into a new passion. The University offers students 8 Clubs to choose from including a Dance Club, a Dramatics Club, a Literary Club and a Debate Club.

Community Engagement

Every student of the University is required to participate in the Service to Society program. From regular medical camps and blood donation drives, to awareness camps and cleanliness drives, students can choose for themselves how they would like to give back to society.

Student Development

Acutely aware that not all students have access to the same resources, the University offers a range of student development programs that aim to help students in areas where they are lacking. These programs include Remedial English Communication Classes and Maths Tutorials, as well as workshops in Personality Development and Grooming.

Student Services

The safety and welfare of our students is of the utmost importance to us. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy on ragging and have also set up processes to quickly and effectively address any grievances students might have. All students are also covered under a University-provided health insurance scheme.
