The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences, RUAS, organized a guest lecture on
"Alternate Careers After Studying Biotechnology: How the IPR Landscape in India is Transforming Biosciences" by a distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Neeraj Nachiketa — Senior Advocate, IPR Consultant, and Environmental Lawyer (LLM, Bombay University; MSc (BT), IIT Bombay).

Spearker Profile:

Mr. Nachiketa will give a talk and have an interactive session with students about diverse career options after Biotechnology, expanding specially about IPR. Mr. Nachiketa is a professional consultant, patent advocate and educator specialising in Law and Education. After completing his MSc in Biotechnology from the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT Bombay, he went on to pursue MTech in Environmental Engineering from BITS Pilani, as well as LLM in Environmental Law, Energy and Climate Change from O.P. Jindal Global Law University. Mr. Nachiketa currently works as a senior advocate practising in Intellectual Property Law, as well as a consultant, and owns his own consultancy company Nachitech Consultant Private Limited.
