On the occasion of 74^th republic day which marks the adoption of India’s constitution and the country’s transition, Students from Faculty of Pharmacy, Ramaiah University of Applied Science were involved in Service to Society initiative.

Teams led by Damodar Nayak A were named and divided as following

Team 3 – Pragya (Knowledge) – Dr. J. Anbu & Mr. Shivaraj Kumar M B– Team Leader

Team 4 – Avyanna (Powerful women) – Team Leader – Ms. Thanuja N K

Following activities were executed by the teams

1. Health Camp – Vitals measurement & Knowledge dissemination on general wellbeing and lifestyle modifications
2. Plog Run – To keep our surroundings and neighborhood FREE from plastic waste while creating harm that plastic waste is creating in our environment
3. Participation in Republic Day event at a Govt. school in the Mathikere slum area and Distribution of stationary & interactive and colorful charts prepared by the students of FPH on Human Body, Medications, Healthy Food Habits, Healthy hands etc. Team also provided one time meal to school children on the auspicious occasion of 74^th Republic Day
4. Sanitary Napkin distribution to females in the underprivileged areas and create awareness on menstrual and feminine hygiene
