The IEOM student chapter at RUAS was inaugurated by the Faculty of Management and Commerce today at an august function attended by Prof Ahad Ali, Executive Director of IEOM Society International, Lawrence Technological University, Michigan, USA, Prof Donald M Reimer Director of Membership and Chapter Development of IEOM Society International, Lawrence Technological University, Michigan, USA, Prof. Qutubuddin S.M., Director of IEOM India Operations, Prof . K. K. Raina, Vice Chancellor, RUAS, Prof. M. Sai Baba, Registrar, RUAS, Prof. Anindya Sen, Pro Vice Chancellor – Social Sciences, RUAS, Deans of Engineering, students and faculty members of FMC. The programme saw the induction of the chapter members by taking the pledge of allegiance led by Prof Reimer and the President of the chapter Mr. Tariq Imam promising to hold up the vision of IEOM and endeavouring to promote the advancement of industrial engineering and operations management discipline for the betterment of humanity.
