Teachers Day Celebration 2025

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) celebrated Teachers Day on 11th September 2025 at the Dwaraka Auditorium with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was graced by Prof. P. Balaram, Former Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, as the Chief Guest, and presided over by Dr. M. R. Jayaram, Hon’ble Chancellor, RUAS. Prof. Kuldeep Kumar Raina, Vice Chancellor, RUAS, addressed the gathering on the significance of the occasion, while Dr. Pushpati Nath Razdan, Principal and Advisor – Quality Assurance and Excellence Cell, delivered an inspiring Teachers Day Message. In recognition of their contributions, institutions from across India, that have shaped the academic journeys of RUAS students were honored, and thirty faculty members of RUAS were conferred with the Annual Exemplary Teacher Award 2025. Prof. Balaram’s enlightening talk, enriched with personal experiences, highlighted the evolving role of teachers in shaping society. The formal program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. S. Ashok Rao, Registrar, RUAS, followed by cultural performances by faculty and staff, showcasing that teachers inspire not only through classrooms but also through art, music, and passion.
