Teachers’ Day Celebration 2022
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) chapter of TeachersDay22 organized the first event on 24th September 222 in Ramaiah Medical College auditorium from 3.30 PM onwards. The performance selected for the big occasion was a Kuchipudi dance recital by Smt. Prateeksha Kashi. She is the recipient of Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Central Sangeet Natak Academy. She was accompanied by her mother Nritya Choodamani Guru Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi. Nattuvangam was by Smt. Vyjayanthi Kashi herself, vocal by Dr. Ramya Suraj, Mridangam by Shri Tumkur Bhadrachar Shashi Shankar and Flute by Shri. Rakesh Dath.
The program began with an invocation to the Goddess Bala Tripura Sundari. Ms. Prateeksha Kashi performed 5 solo dances one after the other and mesmerized the audience with her grace and expressions.
At the end of the performance, all artists were awarded mementos as token of appreciation by Prof. Anindya Sen, Pro Vice Chancellor (Social Sciences), RUAS and Dr. Reema Chaudhury, Director-Student Affairs, RUAS proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The entire event was excellently coordinated by Mr. Rajeev Prasad P, Faculty Coordinator of RUAS CHAPTER OF TeachersDay22 and Asst. Prof. Faculty of Management & Commerce along with a team of student coordinators.
Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences celebrated Teacher’s Day on 12th September 2021 at Ramaiah Medical College Auditorium. Dr. K. P. Puthuraya — Former Director, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) was the chief guest of the function and addressed the gathering. Dr. M R Jayaram — Chancellor, RUAS presided over the function and deliver the presidential address. Prof. Kuldeep K Raina ‑Vice Chancellor, RUAS grace the occasion and delivered the welcome address. Dr. Medha Rao, Dean — Academics, RUAS addressed the gathering about the topic “importance of Teacher’s Day celebration”. Dr. G. S. Venkatesh — Registrar, RUAS delivered the vote of thanks. On this occasion, RUAS honored the internal and external awardees in recognition of their contributions and service in academia.
