Seminar on “Industrial Apparel Production Process Current Status”

Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Art and Design, RTC, RUAS organised seminar on “Industrial Apparel Production Process Current Status” on 11 August 2025. The Resource person Mr. Ajoy Krishna Murthy, Free Lance Fashion Designer from Bangalore delivered the Students of B. Des Fashion Design. The Resource person highlighted on important Industrial terminologies, DSM, ISM, KPI etc. and working situations and challenges faced by industries. Students were enriched with knowledge on recycling, upcycling, and closed-loop systems of apparel sector. Murthy highlighted on importance of practical skill development and its importance for fashion designers. The talk enriched the participants with the knowledge on working situation in apparel industry.
