RUAS M.Tech. Students Win First Place at Datathon 2026

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is delighted to announce that a student team from the M.Tech (2025 Batch) has secured First Place at Datathon 2026.

The prestigious competition was jointly organized by the Akshara Foundation and the ACSEL Technology Forum, and was held at the IIT Alumni Centre, Bengaluru, on August 1–2, 2026.

The winning team members include:

• Ms. Lilekha N. (M.Tech, 2025 Batch)
• Mr. Vatsal Vaghasiya (M.Tech, 2025 Batch)
• Mr. Shorab (M.Tech, 2025 Batch)

Competing against multiple talented teams from leading academic and technical institutions, the RUAS team demonstrated exceptional analytical thinking, technical innovation, and seamless teamwork to claim the top honor.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, the team was awarded the First Prize, along with a cash prize.
