Ramaiah Technology Business Incubator (RTBI), Bangalore signed an MoU with Dassault Systemes Americas Corporation, Waltham, Massachusetts, USA.
Bangalore, 13th November, 2024 - Dassault Systemes Americas Corporation, Waltham, Massachusetts, USA and Ramaiah Technology Business Incubator (RTBI) is pleased to announce a progression towards the acceleration of the innovation and entrepreneurial eco system to achieve international reckoning and global reach. Both the organizations have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore avenues strengthening mutual cooperation and aspirations pertaining to startups, innovation, skill development, research and product development.
RTBI was established in 2018 by RUAS under the start-up policy, supported by the Department of IT, BT, and S&T, Government of Karnataka (GoK). RTBI aims to accelerate the commercialization of technologies developed by its incubatees, thereby fostering and nurturing technology-driven innovation. It is committed to building a dynamic start-up ecosystem by establishing robust networks among RUAS, financial institutions, industries, and other academic and research organizations.
A three-member delegation from Dassault Systemes Americas Corporation led by Mr. Suchit Jain, Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development (USA), and other Senior Executives had detailed and scintillating deliberations with RTBI led by Dr. M.R. Jayaram, Chancellor of RUAS & Chairman, Gokula Education Foundation (M). Senior leadership team of RUAS and RTBI also participated in the deliberations to collaborate and cooperate in formulating the strategies for capacity building in futuristic and emerging domains in Science, Engineering, Technology and Management (STEM). The teams had a tour of the facilities at the Peenya Campus of RUAS.
Expressing his delight at this MoU, Mr. Suchit Jain appreciated the various ongoing activities of Techno Centre (R&D and Consultancy Division), Skill Academy, RTBI, and Valdel Advanced Technologies at RUAS. He was confident that this MOU would provide newer and numerous avenues for furtherment of entrepreneurship and technology development. He mentioned that RUAS can consider establishment of a 3DEXPERIENCE platform, one of its kind, supported through this initiative for enhanced experiential learning for all stakeholders.
Dr. M. R. Jayaram mentioned that today’s deliberations will pave the way for collaborative initiatives meeting the needs & aspirations of the technology community in serving the society with an emphasis on skilling and workforce development. This collaboration will mark a significant step towards developing RTBI/RUAS as a technology hub for various startups, academia, industries, and research organizations to access and harness the proposed best in class infrastructure.
