Pharmacy Faculty Shines: Dr. Saraswathy G R Bags Best Presentation Award at "EURODURG 2025"
Dr. Saraswathy G R, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice, received the Best Presentation Award at the "EURODURG 2025 Conference", held from 1st to 4th July 2025 at Uppsala University, Sweden. It is to mention that 39 Countries delegates participated in this Global platform and 315 abstract was been presented during the conference.
Her award-winning presentation, titled “Applying the RE-AIM Framework to Evaluate Clinical Pharmacy Interventions in a Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit” highlighted an innovative approach to assessing the real-world impact and sustainability of pharmacist-led services in high-risk clinical settings.
In addition, Dr. Saraswathy was been invited as a regional expert representing South-East Asia at the global workshop: “Global Environment in DUR: Challenges and Progress in Research” on 3rd July 2025, where she presented “From Pilot to Practice: Real-World Deprescribing Initiatives through Drug Utilization Review in an Indian Clinical Setting.”
